تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

Tab bat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish.

Surah Number : 111 , Ayat Number : 1

"مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ"

Maa aghna 'anhu maaluhu wa ma kasab

Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired.

Surah Number : 111 , Ayat Number : 2

"سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ"

Sa yas laa naran zaata lahab

He will be roasted in the fire,

Surah Number : 111 , Ayat Number : 3

"وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ"

Wam ra-atuhu hamma latal-hatab

And his wife, the portress of fire wood,

Surah Number : 111 , Ayat Number : 4

"فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ"

Fee jeediha hab lum mim-masad

Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck.
